Which Crypto Exchange Has the Most Coins? (US, Updated Daily)
Of the six exchanges we track that serve US customers, Kraken lists the most coins: 696 as of October 14, 2026. Coinbase is second with 402, and Crypto.com is third with 368. We check the listings of all six exchanges every day, so the counts below stay current.
| Exchange | Coins listed |
|---|---|
| Kraken | 696 |
| Coinbase | 402 |
| Crypto.com | 368 |
| Binance.US | 138 |
| Gemini | 73 |
| Bitstamp | 64 |
Counts are coins with an active market on each exchange, from CoinGecko exchange data. Together the six list 896 different coins. Click an exchange to see its full list.
These counts cover each exchange's markets as a whole, so they can include coins that aren't offered to US customers or in every state. Kraken, for example, publishes a list of assets restricted for US clients and doesn't serve residents of New York or Maine. Check the exchange's own app for what you can trade where you live.
Kraken vs Coinbase
By our daily counts, Kraken lists the most and Coinbase is next. If a mid-sized coin is sold in the US at all, there's a good chance it's on one of them.

Step-by-step help for the top pick: how to buy crypto on Kraken.
Crypto.com and Binance.US
Crypto.com's list is close to Coinbase's in size. Binance.US carries far fewer coins. Binance.US says it is an entirely separate entity from Binance.com, and Binance says US residents can't use Binance.com.
Gemini and Bitstamp
Both list far fewer coins than Kraken or Coinbase. Check each one's list for the coins you want before you sign up.
What else to compare before you sign up
- Your state. Availability differs by state. Kraken, for example, doesn't serve New York or Maine residents and limits some transfers in a few other states, so check the exchange's own availability page.
- Fees and spreads. The simple "Buy" button and the advanced trading screen can have different fees and spreads. Compare the total cost, spread included, on the exchange's fee page.
- Liquidity. A coin that trades little on an exchange can have a wide spread. Each coin page on Lasso shows every US exchange's 24-hour volume for that coin.
What if no exchange lists your coin?
Most coins missing from US exchanges still trade on-chain. Our guide on how to buy crypto not listed on Coinbase covers the safe route.
Track listings as they change
Exchanges add and remove coins all the time. Our new listings page records every change we detect across these six exchanges, and the exchanges page has the full list for each one.
